Liberty London and Richard Quinn launch exclusive collaboration

Published
Jul 5, 2018

Richard Quinn and Liberty of London are continuing their creative collaboration, first unveiled at his SS18 show when the designer made history by receiving the inaugural Queen Elizabeth II Award for British design, presented by the Queen herself in her first ever attendance at a fashion week event.

His collection, patterned with bold Liberty designs in a subversive, almost fetishised style, has inspired their next collaboration, an exclusive accessories range that is launching online and in-store this month.

“I like taking things that shouldn’t usually be put together and then really upping the saturation,” says Richard Quinn about the collection. Indeed, saturation is a perfect word to describe the range, with the classic Liberty prints receiving another ultra-modern makeover.

There are totes, purses, card holders and scarves, all made from bold floral prints in vivid, acidic colours, and combined with different prints to create a rebellious result.

Richard Quinn is quickly becoming known for his ability to create contrasting prints. His print studio, set up in November 2016, has made graphics for brands including J.W. Anderson.

The new Liberty London x Richard Quinn accessories collaboration will launch in full online and in-store from Monday 9 July. Its Merton totes are now available online.
