Liam Gallagher’s Pretty Green enjoys strong Christmas trading

Published
Jan 26, 2016

Music inspired high-end menswear retailer Pretty Green increased sales by 16.5% in the six weeks to 31 December 2015, with a 15% growth on like-for-like sales. The brand, which was founded by former Oasis singer Liam Gallagher in 2009, enjoyed a surge in international sales, which climbed 24% over Christmas.

The brand draws inspiration from music legends such as Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd - Pretty Green

Meanwhile its e-commerce website saw online sales rise by 27%, reflecting the continued strength of the group’s online proposition. Pretty Green trades from 30 stores and concessions across the UK and Japan, and wholesales in 120 retailers.

Richard Ralph, Pretty Green CEO, commented: “We are delighted with the strong trading over the Christmas period and Q1 which we believe is a reflection of our investment in further developing the awareness of Pretty Green in the UK and internationally.”

The British label said net sales for the three months to 31 December increased by 14%.
