Laura Ashley back in the United Arab Emirates

Published
Jul 13, 2009

Laura Ashley has made its return to the United Arab Emirates. After an absence of two years the label has signed a franchise agreement with a Dubai based company, Agili.

Signing this agreement with a regional business conglomerate should allow the brand’s presence to grow in the Middle Eastern market.

The first Laura Ashley boutique opened its doors in the Mercato shopping mall whereas the second store has recently opened, at the beginning of July, in Dubai Festival City.

Last month Laura Ashley declared that it was in the process of researching new opportunities in Asia and the Middle East, which according to Just-Style.com was an effort to compensate for slowing demand in the United Kingdom.
