Lanvin appoints a new international communications director

Published
Jul 30, 2015

While rumours of an impending sale have been floating about for some months, Lanvin recently announced the forthcoming arrival of a new international communications director, in the person of Marie-Sabine Leclerq.

Leclerq, a marketing and communications graduate from Celsa, will work under the leadership of Michèle Huiban, the CEO of the French fashion label under the artistic guidance of Alber Elbaz.

Marie-Sabine Leclerq joins Lanvin as International Communications Director

Before joining Lanvin, the new Communications Director honed her skills at L'Oréal, acting as Communications and International PR Director for the Lancôme brand. After L'Oréal, she worked as Senior Vice-President of Communications for the Coty group (Lancaster group).

In 2005, after her success in the beauty world, Marie-Sabine Leclerq entered the world of fashion, continuing her career at Louis Vuitton Malletier, acting as International Communications Director. She especially devoted herself to the opening of the brand's flagship store on the Champs-Elysées in Paris.

Finally, in December 2008, Marie-Sabine Leclerq was appointed International Communications and Operational Marketing Director at Longchamp, lending coherence in the course of her tenure to the brand’s global strategy.

Her diversified professional experience is what led Lanvin to her.

Michèle Huiban commented: "I’m delighted to welcome Marie-Sabine at Lanvin. Her remarkable international experience in luxury goods will contribute to Lanvin’s growth. She will be using all the necessary tools, including digital ones, to support global communications."
