La Prairie names new Vice President for EMEA

The Swiss cosmetics group, which opened its first European store yesterday in Paris at 199 rue Saint-Honoré (1st arrondissement), has promoted Kirsten Hangarter to vice president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Hangarter succeeds Pascal Hyafil, who left the group in October 2014.

Having joined the group La Prairie ten years ago, Hangarter previously held the position of business development director of EMEA. She will report to Patrick Rasquinet, President and CEO of the La Prairie Group. 

The group has also named Greg Prodromides senior vice president of global marketing for the La Prairie skincare brand. He succeeds Lynne Florio, who is now consulting for the group.

Prodromides, who has worked at the La Prairie Group since 2013, has also previously worked for Christian Dior, in charge of its skincare division.
