Kering loses board member Laurence Boone
Kering will once again be letting go of Laurence Boone. Appointed OECD chief economist from July, Boone will step down from her role as a board member of the French luxury group. It's a second departure for Boone, who left Kering's board back in 2014.
Boone served previously on Kering's board for four years between 2010 and 2014. At the time, she left her post to join the French government after being appointed as an economic affairs advisor to President François Hollande.
After the tenure, Boone -- who recently worked as chief economist for insurance group Axa -- was reinstated to the Kering board in April 2016.
She was one of seven women to hold a seat on the 11-member committee. For now, a replacement has not yet been announced, leaving the board to just ten.
Meanwhile, Kering announced in a press release the departure of Sophie Bouchillou from its board.
The director of employee relations has seen her board term expire and will be replaced by Claire Lacaze, the group's event manager, according to LinkedIn.
