French luxury house Kenzo has tapped "Orange Is the New Black" actress Natasha Lyonne to direct the brand's fresh fall 2017 campaign film.

The Paris-based brand announced the project on its Instagram page on Thursday: "Humberto Leon & Carol Lim, creative directors of KENZO, present “Cabiria, Charity, Chastity”, a new film written and directed by the accomplished actress Natasha Lyonne, featuring KENZO’s Fall-Winter 2017 collections."
The film is described as a series of encounters between its lead character Chastity, played by Maya Rudlolph, as she confronts her past in a burlesque universe.
Lyonne also took to Instagram to comment on the project, praising Kenzo and her colleagues in what she called the "most soul soaring experience I've had yet."
Set to premiere on the brand's official web site on September 1, the film will showcase Kenzo's Fall-Winter 2017 collections and besides Lyonne and Rudolph also stars Fred Armisen, Greta Lee, James Ransone, Matt Lucas, Macaulay Culkin, Waris Ahluwalia and Leslie Odom Jr.
While "Cabiria, Charity, Chastity" marks Kenzo's fifth short film, it will be Lyonne's first, as she joins the ranks of previous Kenzo film directors such as Kahlil Joseph, Carrie Brownstein, Sean Baker and Gregg Araki.
