In March Karl Lagerfeld will open a London flagship store on one of the world’s busiest shopping streets. Located at 145-147 Regent Street, the concept store will combine the brand’s accessible luxury collections, including men’s, women’s ready-to-wear and accessories collections, including handbags, leather goods, watches, eyewear, scarves, footwear as well as limited editions and special objects. Karl Lagerfeld has also opened stores in Paris, Munich, Amsterdam, Shanghai, Beijing and, most recently, in Antwerp though the London store is set to be the label's biggest European store.

The opening of the store will coincide with the launch of the Karl Lagerfeld fragrance duo, created under a licensing agreement with perfume group Interparfums.

“I am thrilled to announce the opening of our flagship store at this landmark location to showcase the world of Karl Lagerfeld,” says Pier Paolo Righi, CEO of the company. “Opening on Regent Street provides us with an exceptional opportunity to position our brand in this important market. London is one of the world’s leading cities when it comes to Retail and this location offers a unique brand mix. Our London presence will be a fantastic representation of our brand’s aesthetic, and it showcases our cool, accessible-luxe collections in a cutting-edge environment."

Regent Street is becoming a hub for high-end and high-street brands a like, with labels from Burberry and Longchamp to J. Crew and G-Star all choosing to set up shops in the area. And rightly so; it is estimated that 70 million people pass along the street every year.
