Karl Lagerfeld to launch The Karl Daily on September 20
The famous designer and photographer Karl Lagerfeld has come up with a new marketing innovation for this season: a newspaper called The Daily Karl, to hit the stands on Saturday, September 20.
The Karl Daily will be distributed in seven European cities: Paris, London, Munich, Berlin, Amsterdam, Antwerp and Zurich.
On the same day, the newspaper will become available in all Karl Lagerfeld stores.
Altogether, 40,000 copies will be distributed in the street and 150,000 through the brand’s stores!
Obviously, the designer is the editor. His cat Herbie is also one of the contributors!
The pages of The Karl Daily will feature street style photos, images of brand products, comics, etc.
In a second phase, The Daily Karl will be brought out in the United States, China and the Middle East. In the US, it will be made available through brand partners such as Fossil, and in China and the Middle East, though Karl Lagerfeld stores.
It will also be accessible on the Karl.com website.
