"We will do our utmost to contribute to the folk festival that the Eurovision Song Contest is," says KappAhl's Vice President Marketing Joakim Holmstrand. The retailer will support the Eurovision Song Contest through a number of initiatives.

Its stores will sell a specially designed Eurovision party dress collection, and shoppers will get the chance to win tickets to the competition on the KappAhl website. 18,000 KappAhl hangers in the pink Eurovision colour will also be distributed during the week of the festivities in Stockholm, to be used by the contestant delegations and for activities surrounding the event.

The retailer will have its own tent in the Eurovision Village, Kungsträgården, where visitors can make their own Eurovision film, take selfies with a Eurovision touch and compete for tickets to the Eurovision finals. Before the competition starts, KappAhl's web TV will also feature various Eurovision celebrities.

KappAhl has been raising its profile lately, and recently held a Sustainable Design Contest open to design students within fashion and textiles with a link to Sweden, Finland, Norway and Poland.
