Joris Aperghis becomes head of WE Fashion
Jan 13, 2015
There has been a change at the top of Dutch clothing chain WE Fashion. On 15 January, Joris Aperghis will begin as the brand’s new CEO. He has already worked at the company for over a year as its chief marketing officer. Logo International, the Dutch holding company that owns WE Fashion, hopes this appointment will enable the brand to better track changes in consumer tastes as well as facilitating the transition to new sales channels.

Aperghis was chief marketing officer at G-Star before joining WE Fashion. He has also worked for LaDress, Coca-Cola and MTV Networks. He replaces John Hind, who is leaving to join retail chain Ahold after less than two years at WE Fashion.
Logo International is taking advantage of the change to announce another appointment. Mikael Andersson, WE Fashion’s former chief e-commerce officer, has been named its new COO. He will be responsible for sales, finance, IT and supply chain.
WE Fashion has 250 stores in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Austria and Switzerland and 3000 employees.
