Jitrois opens first New York City flagship store

French fashion label Jitrois announced the opening of its first flagship store on New York City’s Madison Avenue. The New York flagship store is the second to open in the United States and the ninth to open worldwide.

 
Christophe Pillet, who has been designing Jitrois boutiques with the brand’s founder, Jean Claude Jitrois, since 2000, designed this 700-square-foot commercial space. Much like the other Jitrois boutiques, the New York flagship is designed specifically for its city. It features curved rooms with illuminated acrylic tubular lighting and mirrored walls that reflect a pale gold ceiling and a luminescent white floor.

The Madison Avenue Jitrois store opening is the first result of the new collaboration between the brand and the founder of GSA Global Company and Shelton group, Jodi Shelton. The two joined forces in mid-February to open the boutique.

Jitrois currently has 9 stores, in Paris, Cannes and Courchevel in France, London, Luxembourg, Beijing, Hong Kong, and Aspen. The company plans to open additional stores in the US this year in Las Vegas, Dallas and Miami.
