Jeremy Scott creates Moschino Barbie, due to release exclusively on Net-a-Porter

Published
Nov 2, 2015

Jeremy Scott, Creative Director of Moschino, has designed two Barbie dolls dressed in iconic Moschino designs, including a slogan t-shirt, mesh knitwear, a quilted faux leather bomber jacket, and a tiny quilted cross body bag, among others.

The dolls will release exclusively on Net-a-Porter on November 9th - Barbie

The collector Moschino Barbie marks the tie-up between the pop-culture-inspired brand and Mattel, which also includes an eight-piece ready-to-wear collection featuring some life-sized versions of the same designs, with the addition of two new printed t-shirts.

Jeremy Scott, Creative Director at Moschino says: “I wanted to bring all of the Moschino elements to Barbie, as I had done the reverse by bringing all of the Barbie elements to Moschino for the SS15 collection. The thing I love most about Barbie, is that she is the ultimate muse, she’s worn every style and design imaginable and at the same time she’s had every possible profession you can dream of.”

The dolls and the collection are due to launch exclusively on Net-a-Porter on November 9th.  The collector edition Moschino Barbie doll will be available for approximately $150 or £100.
