H&M has recruited iconic photographer, illustrator and artistic director Jean-Paul Goude to shot the campaign for the highly anticipated collection Kenzo x H&M.

Working together with H&M and Kenzo’s designers, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, Jean-Paul Goude created a campaign that showcases his unique style and the spirit of the collaboration. The imagery features seven celebrities and figureheads including supermodel and activist Iman, actress Rosario Dawson, hip-hop artist Chance The Rapper, musician and composer Ryuichi Sakamoto, actress Chloe Sevigny, rapper Suboi and activist Xiuhtezcatl Martinez.
“We love to work with our idols, and Jean-Paul Goude is a true icon. His images for Kenzo x H&M are incredible, and capture the personality, positivity and freedom of the collection,” says Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, creative directors of the French label.
“Working with H&M and Carol and Humberto on the Kenzo x H&M campaign is a real adventure. I love the attitude that they have brought to the collection, and their youth, energy, fun and style,” added Jean-Paul Goude.
This is not the first time Jean-Paul Goude is collaborating with Kenzo. Previous Kenzo campaigns photographed by Goude include the imagery for the Spring/Summer 2013 and Autumn/Winter 2012 collections.
The campaign will debut on October 17, before the collection arrives in over 250 selected H&M stores, as well as online, on November 3.
