Last month, the Irish designer J.W. Anderson found his first CEO: Simon Whitehouse. With a background in sales, the Brit was previously director of wholesale for the line Diesel Black Gold for three years. Before that, he served as global commercial director for the British designer Matthew Williamson.

"I wanted someone who had a sales background and someone who could understand the needs of a small business and a younger team," said the designer, who will celebrate his 30th birthday this year.

The strategic recruitment comes eight months after the announcement by LVMH that it was acquiring a stake in the brand, which offers both men’s and womenswear. At the same time, the young designer was recruited by the world's number one in luxury as creative director for the Spanish house Loewe, whose first show with Anderson at the helm is set for next October in Paris.

Meanwhile, J.W. Anderson is preparing to launch its first e-commerce site on June 16, a date that coincides with its spring/summer 2015 show London Collections: Men.
