House of Holland to launch menswear collection

Published
May 8, 2015

House of Holland, the brand by British fashion designer Henry Holland known for its colourful, fun creations and witty prints, is moving into menswear this season.

The label will show its inaugural menswear line at "London Collections: Men" on Sunday 14th of June in a private view gallery exhibition with photographer Martin Parr.

Eschewing traditional seasonal concepts, the collection will go on sale immediately at selected stockists, including Selfridges, Galeries Lafayette, and Opening Ceremony.

The collection, which includes a small capsule line created with Martin Parr, was inspired by tribal uniforms from youth subcultures: teds, casuals, buffalo kids, ravers.

Holland commented: "In the time I have been doing womenswear shows I've always been focused on ways to make the catwalk presentation process more relevant to my consumer. To launch the menswear collection on schedule and in store simultaneously with menswear I feel like we have found a great solution to the ‘see now, want now, buy now’ culture we are increasingly working within. I'm excited to see the reaction!”
