Titled ‘Hermèsmatic’, the luxury laundromat pop-up is a fun, complimentary service where customers can dip-dye their vintage Hermès scarves in one of three colours: denim blue, fuchsia and bright red.

This is the first time the concept has appeared in the UK. It launched in Strasbourg, France, over a year ago and has been taken to cities like New York, Kyoto, Munich and Amsterdam. It is expected to open in LA in November.

The Manchester pop-up will also host free silk styling workshops for Hermès customers, teaching techniques for transforming the silk scarves into headpieces, bags, crowns and clothing.

Located at 31 King Street Manchester, Hermèsmatic will be open for a week until 12 October.
