Happy Socks this month moved to a new headquarters in Stockholm at Lärkstan in the Östermalm district. The company moved into the new 14,000-square-foot space at the beginning of the year.

The new headquarters, which was previously the home of the Chinese Embassy, houses the company’s office, production and design collectives, a studio, showroom and in-house agency, “The Happy Agency”.
“We are delighted to open our polka-dot covered Happy House, the new Happy Socks headquarters, and become the very first ‘fashion sock house’ in the world,” says Happy Socks founder and owner Mikael Söderlindh.
Söderlindh co-founded Happy Socks with Victor Tell in 2008, and today the company is available in over 90 countries. The opening of the new headquarters preceded the company’s acquisition by Palamon Capital Partners in mid-January. The acquisition was valued at $81 million, or SEK 725 Million, and Palamon gave Happy Socks $4.5 million, or SEK 40 Million, in funding.
