Operating income reached 83 million euros, up 34%. The group highlights solid performance by its Activewear segment, especially by Champion and its retail business.

Internationally, the Group recorded a 9% increase in sales to 80 million euros and more than tripled its operating profit to 6 million euros.
Its highest-earning segment remains Innerwear, which grew by almost 15% to 413 million euros. Activewear, up 10.2%, accounted for 213 million, while Direct-to-consumer represented 61 million.

The Group has improved its forecasts for its 2014 fiscal year, aiming for sales approaching 3.7 billion euros and an operating profit of 496 million.
