H&M sets opening date for new Ilford store

From September 15, visitors to the Exchange Shopping Centre in Ilford, UK, will be able to also shop from H&M, as the Swedish fashion brand is opening its latest UK store here.

Carlos Duarte, H&M’s Country Manager UK & IE, commented, “We have an opportunity to reach both existing and new customers, showcasing our great quality fashion that caters for every budget. Our new store opening in Ilford is a great addition to the H&M portfolio, allowing us to bring even more of our offering to north-east London”.
The new store will sell womenswear, menswear and kidswear, as well as H&M's teenage Divided brand, and measure 1,963 sqm. over two floors.
H&M currently has over 260 stores in its UK and Ireland portfolio. It recently announced that is opening a store at the Spires shopping centre in Barnes and doubling the size of its store at Willow Place in Corby. In addition, the fashion retailer will anchor the Newlands Shopping Centre in Kettering.
H&M is also expanding globally and just opened its inaugural store in Mumbai, India.
