The Swedish retailer earlier this month opened its first fully sustainable store worldwide in Mexico’s Monterrey, which took five months to build.

Additionally the brand is planning to open a second store in Monterrey as well as a new location in Mexico City in spring 2016.

H&M has now 16 stores in Mexico, five more since June this year. The Mexican segment of the label generated sales of 6.8 million pesos (about $ dollars).

According to the consulting firm Trendex, H&M’s global goal is to grow by 15% in 2015. In Mexico, the chain has already expanded by 150% this year.
