Glamour magazine to open online beauty store with feelunique.com

Glamour magazine has become the latest women's publication to launch an online makeup venture with the opening of Glamour Beauty Boutique.

The UK magazine is teaming up with the existing store feelunique.com on the concept, which will open later this year.

Jim Buckle, COO of feelunique.com, noted that the collaboration will offer the magazine's readers "the very best beauty shopping experience available, accessing the UK's widest selection of products, to discover the ones that suit them, to look and feel their best, in their own unique way," according to InPublishing.co.uk.

Glamour isn't the first magazine to move into the beauty and wellbeing retail domain -- in February Marie Claire UK announced plans to enter into partnership with Ocado subsidiary Speciality Stores. Look magazine has a line of makeup that retails in Superdrug, and last year fashion site Into the Gloss launched the Glossier range, which sells face products and foundations.
