Gaastra changes its strategy for shoes

In 2010, Gaastra took back control over its shoe segment which before had been entrusted under license to the company Footex.

At the time, this action allowed it to align its shoe offer on its domestic market, Holland, and its export markets, like Germany, France, Belgium and Italy.

Four years later, the brand from the McGregor Fashion group seems to have fulfilled its objective. Now it has chosen to entrust the design and distribution of its models to a new licensee as of the spring/summer 2015 season.

Newport Footwear, a subsidiary of the Dutch company Star Collections, will thus distribute the next season.
