American fashion brand Creatures of the Wind was founded in 2008 by Shane Gabier and Christopher Peters, and has since won awards including the CFDA Swarovski Award for Womenswear. Now, the label has teamed up with fashion etailer Farfetch to launch its 2017 collection and runway show.

The collection will be shown in London on 29 June, at the label’s first-ever European runway show, to industry influencers and press. It will also be live-streamed on the Farfetch site, allowing Farfetch customers to join the front row. Immediately after the show, an edit of hero pieces will be available exclusively on Farfetch, for a “see now, buy now” experience.

Shane Gabier and Chris Peters of Creatures of the Wind said: "We are so happy to have the opportunity to partner with Farfetch to debut our Resort 2017 collection in London. We’ve always been interested in the way that British women approach fashion with a strong, personal perspective and a fearless attitude. Our mood for the season feels perfectly at home in London."

The show, which will include a crepe de chine dress and limited edition one-of-a-kind hand embroidered army surplus parka, will also be shown globally via Vogue.com ad units that will be Vogue’s first instantly shoppable runway live-stream ads.

Stephanie Horton, Chief Marketing Officer at Farfetch, added: “Championing innovation in fashion is paramount. The fashion industry is embracing a more fast-paced environment and sense of immediateness; this has undoubtedly been influenced by the digital era that we now live in. We are excited to be working with Creatures of the Wind to provide our customers with this unique shopping experience.”

The runway show will air live on 29 June at 8pm BST and 3pm EST
