Façonnable without management

Published
Mar 31, 2015

According to our sources, nearly the entire management team of Façonnable has left the brand. Its managing director, Ludovic Le Gourrierec, but also wholesale manager Virgile Raynaud and Norman Lemay, image and visual identity manager.

Ludovic Le Gourrierec

All three did a stint at Saint Laurent, where Ludovic le Gourrierec was notably the director of the men's division.

Joining Façonnable in 2013, their mission was to reposition the brand towards the luxury market, or failing that at least the premium one.

Mission accomplished, according to Ludovic Le Gourrierec, with the entry of the brand, owned by the Lebanese group M1, into premium department stores, such as Harrods, Lane Crawford, Selfridges, etc.

The Façonnable house does not intend to comment on these departures. It is worth noting that they are taking place not long after its owner's purchase (Lebanese M1 in tandem with L Capital Asia) of the Pepe Jeans group, which also owns Hackett brand, which has a positioning similar to Façonnable.
