Fab. to continue as Fabienne Chapot

The Amsterdam-based lifestyle brand Fab. announced that it will continue as Fabienne Chapot. The change will take affect from 1 August 2016 and is part of the brand’s further development and international expansion.



Fab. started in 2006 with a line based on handbags and purses and quickly grew into the lifestyle brand it is today. Via an online shop, a brand store, a pop-up store and more than 500 points of sale in 15 countries, the lifestyle brand offers bags, footwear, accessories, clothing and table wear.

In 2014, Fab. introduced its luxury line, Fabienne Chapot, which focuses on handbags, purses and key chains made from quality materials, such as snakeskin and sheepskin, with the latter exclusively produced for the label.

“What slowly started with a heart-decorated bag called Fab. has become the accessory brand in the Netherlands with a very recognizable signature and a large fan base. Now, ten years later and a lot of other Fab. designs, it's time for a new chapter. The brand has become more mature and we will launch a clothing line, which allows us to take the next step, to expand abroad,” says Fabienne Chapot, founder and designer of Fab.



As part of the company’s re-branding, the stores and point of sales will also transform into the new Fabienne Chapot identity. This will be introduced during the July edition of Dutch tradeshow Modefabriek. During Modefabriek, the lifestyle brand will also launch its own clothing line.
