Eurosima: Frédéric Basse to leave

Frédéric Basse, former Executive General Manager of Rip Curl, will hold Eurosima's general meeting for the last time. Eurosima was founded in 1999 as the association representing the European board sports industry.

After nine terms, Basse will chair his last general meeting for the association. The meeting will begin at 4 pm at the Olatu Leku centre in Anglet, France. The name of Basse's successor will be revealed then.

It will also be the chance for the association to review its activities, for example introducing the four young companies which have been selected for its mentoring programme.

Eurosima will also focus on the new projects labelled 'Ecoride' for 2016, setting strict criteria for environmental management, eco-design and social engagement.

Eurosima counts among its members over 120 brands and sixty manufacturing and service companies.
