Euratex: 3rd convention Nov. 18 in Brussels

Published
Oct 15, 2014

On November 18, Euratex, The European Apparel and Textile Organisation, will hold its third convention in Brussels. The event will serve as an opportunity for industry experts to discuss new purchasing behaviors and technologies.

Euratex Convention 2013 - Euratex

The convention will welcome representatives from the textile industry, associations, government agencies, academics and elected officials. On the agenda: a roundtable discussion will provide an update on the "megatrends" of consumers’ behavior. Gildas Minvielle, of the French Fashion Institute (IFM) will discuss the impact of the economic crisis on private consumption of textiles and fashion.

There will also be discussions regarding public support for innovation and various needs identified for different countries. That’s not to mention dialogue about sensitive textile technologies, the industry’s “new horizons” and emerging opportunities for the high-tech recycling of textiles.

Professionals who wish to participate are invited to register with Euratex.
