Esprit appoints head of retail for EMEA

Published
Jul 9, 2013

According to our source, Johan Munck – current head of retail for the brand in France - has been promoted to head of retail for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (but excluding Germany).

The position is newly created and will mean that Munck will be supporting Christophe Bezu who is in charge of wholesale and retail in the same region. Esprit recently announced it would be organizing its business by geographical zones. The reorganization was bought in to reduce internal competition between retail and franchise managers.

Johan Munck spent 10 years working at H&M and has also worked at Sia, Hunkemöller and New Look, where he was head of its international division. Before joining Esprit at the end of 2011, he was head of French brand Celio’s Spanish, Belgian and Italian subsidiaries.
