Escada: Ronny Borck, ex-Benetton, to head retail

Escada has announced the hiring of Ronny Borck, who is currently head of monobrand retail (concessions, franchise stores, branches) at Benetton Germany.

He succeeds Alonso Alonso Gonzalez, who has moved over to Basler, at the Munich-based brand. He will start no later than December 1. 

Borck began his career working for the Kaufhof department stores, which are owned by the group Metro, before joining the Austrian subsidiary of Nike in 2003. 

Four years later, he oversaw major accounts at Nike Germany. Before joining Benetton in 2013, he held various positions at VF Europe.
