ELLE creates an international platform for its various editions

Lagardère Active is looking to group together activity of its 43 editions of ELLE across the world. The publisher of the famous women’s magazine has just launched a site that centralizes all ELLE online activity. The site (www.ellearoundtheworld.com) and its respective social media accounts form what is known as the “ELLE International Network”. The website – also available on mobiles – aims to be a window to all 43 editions of the magazine, showing the user the most recent ELLE cover in any given country as well as directing them to the respective sites and social media handles.

As for Twitter and Facebook, relevant content is gathered from across the world and translated into English before it is shared with readers from across the globe who are curious to know about foreign editions of ELLE. The ELLE International Network stems from an idea to aggregate ELLE’s national Twitter and Facebook accounts, which all together boast 3 million followers and 2.6 million fans.

This new international platform will also facilitate communication of events organized by each edition, such as the ELLE International Beauty Awards, in which 43 ELLE editions take part.
