The new role at the UK footwear specialist is a key one and will see him working alongside the firm’s vice-president of product and marketing and its global product teams.
He will have a key input into the brand’s strategy and will drive the marketing plans for its seasonal collections, also overseeing communications strategies across its regions globally.
Garcia will report directly to the global senior vice-president of product and marketing Darren Campbell, who said of the new appointment: “I am delighted to welcome Mathieu to the brand on the back of an extensive search.
“He has a proven track record of driving consumer connectivity across all channels and platforms and more importantly doing so in a collaborative style whilst building great teams. I’m confident he will be instrumental in moving the brand forward through authentic marketing activities enabling further connectivity with our global consumers.”
