David Yurman announced this month the departure of CEO Gabriella Forte. She parted ways with the company on June 1 after two years as CEO.

A longtime board member of David Yurman, Forte was appointed CEO of the American jewelry brand in 2015, after having served as senior consultant and GM of Beauty at Dolce & Gabbana. She succeeded co-founder David Yurman as CEO, who filled the role after the departure of Glen Senk.

During her tenure, the jewelry brand opened its first boutique in Hawaii, opened two stores in Dubai, and reopened its King of Prussia boutique.

Prior to joining David Yurman, Forte served as President of Dolce & Gabbana US, CEO of iBeauty.com, COO and President of Calvin Klein, and she spent 15 years at Giorgio Armani.

David Yurman will serve as CEO of his namesake brand during the search for Forte’s successor.
