Coach to open an 8600 ft² store on Paris' Rue Saint-Honoré

Published
Feb 18, 2015

American leather goods brand Coach has just signed a contract for the acquisition of the Hugo Boss store on 372-374 Rue Saint-Honoré. An 8600 ft² space on several levels giving Coach the flagship store it was without a doubt in need of in the French capital.

The location is anything but insignificant. Coach has been looking to reposition itself in the luxury sector since last year all while losing ground, especially in the United States.

For the second semester (ended on 27 December 2014) of its current financial year, Coach thus recorded a 20% drop in sales across the pond (-22% on a comparable scope). Its international sales also went down a fraction, by 1% (however they did increase by +5% on a constant scope). In Japan they dropped 7%.
