Christian Lacroix has signed a license for its shoes with parent company and owner of the National Standard brand. It is a first but non-exclusive agreement.

It is thus a manufacturing and distribution licensing agreement with the Christian Lacroix brand which will first come out in spring/summer 2015.

The purely men's collection has some thirty models. The prices of the shoes made in Portugal range from 230 to 300 euros a pair (£180-£240).

Several multi-brand stores have already taken the bait, from France to Oslo to as far as Mexico. The Christian Lacroix will also be available in the men's section of French department store Printemps.
