London-based leading childrenswear trade show Bubble closed its doors after “two successful days” at the London Business Design Centre, hosting more than 80 new brands.

Debuting labels included Balloon Copenhagen, The Faraway Gang, Tao & Friends and Fred’s World by Green Cotton, while Breitenstein Agencies introduced the new agent showrooms concept presenting collections from Angulus, Veja, Bobux, Fub, Mar Mar Copenhagen, MP Denmark, Huttelihut and Iglo + Indi within the same space.

Visitors to the show enjoyed the debut of Bubble Runway, with AW18 collections modelled by mini celebrity guests including Farouk James, Harlow Luna White, Amazing Arabella, Fleur Isted from the Isted Kids and musician JB Gill and son Ace.

The schedule of seminars and panel discussions was kicked off with a gender neutral clothing debate, and saw experienced buyers such a Amy Whittard from Mothercare share key insights in a Buyer’s panel.

Tamara Ecclestone talked about her babycare range Fifi & Friends with Baby London magazine, while online marketplace Trouva demonstrated how its platform can connect independent boutiques.

The event also saw kids outerwear brand Grass & Air receive The Rising Star Award, while Selfie Clothing took home the Stand Out award.

Bubble London will return to the Business Design Centre in Islington in 15-16 July.
