The company's gross profit margin in the period was 52.4% and operating profit was 58m SEK, up from 56m the previous year. Brand sales (excluding VAT) increased by 1% to 1.4bn SEK. Excluding currency effects, brand sales were down 1%.

“In summing up 2015 we can report that Björn Borg improved all the key indicators in the business plan: retail sales, employee engagement, operating profit and revenue,” said CEO Henrik Bunge.

Björn Borg also released figures for its fourth quarter of 2015, which it described as "strong." In the period between October 1 and December 31, net sales increased by 13% to 152.6m SEK. Operating profit rose from 3.6m to 14.6m SEK year-on-year, and profit after tax amounted to 7.3m SEK (up from 5.9m).

Björn Borg recently also announced a collaboration with British designer Craig Green, who has created a limited edition sports fashion capsule collection for the brand. The range, which will be for both men and women, will include 20 items in off-white and black, and be released in October.
