Birchbox launches Arrow, its second in-house brand

Birchbox, the American specialist in subscription beauty boxes, has named its second in-house brand Arrow. Inspired by the athleisure trend, the products are "sized for easy, on-the-go use to seamlessly transition from work to workouts to fun with friends," says the company in a press release.

To start with, Birchbox has launched three products: an aluminum- and alcohol-free deodorant, a color enhancing lip balm and a cooling cheek tint.

These Made in the USA vegan products, which are paraben- and gluten-free, are currently exclusively available on the company's American and Canadian websites, as well as at Birchbox's flagship store in Soho and the Birchbox beauty boutique at Rent the Runway's store in Georgetown. The lip balm and cheek tint will be sampled in February Birchboxes.

It was only in October that Birchbox launched its first in-house brand, LOC, an acronym for Love of Color. Founded in 2010, Birchbox opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Soho, New York. Today, Birchbox has more than 1 million subscribers and operates in six countries, including France, Spain, UK, Belgium and Canada.
