Bench appoints Thomas Wölfle as COO

The apparel company Bench is not only debuting a new office in Munich, Germany, but also a new Chief Operating Officer. In the newly-created position, Thomas Wölfle will be responsible for supply chain, business process and IT of the British/German urbanwear retailer.

The industrial engineer has many years of experience in process management across various industries. From 2003 to 2010 he served in several senior management positions at Magna Group, where he also held the title of Director of Operations/Program Management Europe from 2008 to 2010.
In 2011, Wölfle became Executive Vice President Automotive & Business Development of the Munich-based software company Actano. Further, he began in 2013 to work as an independent business consultant for a number of clients, including Bench.
Bench’s management is rounded out with Bruno Sälzer, as Chairman & CEO, and Natalie Süssmann as Chief Marketing Officer, Sebastian Streck as Chief Product Officer, Sebastian Prallet as Chief Wholesale Officer, Andy Marsh as Chief Retail Officer and Paul Stout as Chief Financial Officer.
The brand, which offers stylish clothing with a functional edge for men, women and kids, began to expand its business in Germany at the beginning of this year due to the popularity of the label in the German market.
