Aquascutum names new MD and head of menswear
It's all change ahead at British heritage brand Aquascutum, which has just appointed a new managing director and a new head of menswear.
Philip Brassington, who was most recently managing director of Alfred Dunhill, is the brand's new MD. He replaces COO Mark Taylor, who left Acquascutum in May after three years. Brassington has 19 years of experience in luxury fashion, in the UK as well as internationally.
Aquascutum also revealed that it has a new head of menswear, Te Dinh Sy, who joins the company this month. Sy has previously worked at Alexander McQueen and Kenzo, among others. Andrew Chan, CEO of Aquascutum says: “I am pleased to announce these new appointments at an exciting time for the brand, and I feel confident that their wealth of experience will compliment the existing team in driving the brand forward."
