Zinedine Zidane becomes Mango's latest ambassador

The former international soccer player and current Real Madrid Castilla coach will be the new face of Mango Man in an upcoming campaign.

Usually somewhat removed from the media stage, the French soccer star will inevitably be in the spotlight as the new ambassador for Spanish ready-to-wear brand Mango.

A recipient of the coveted Golden Ball award, Zidane will appear in the brand's Spring-Summer 2015 menswear campaign, shot in Madrid. The first image revealed, in black and white, shows the sports legend in a shirt, tie and blazer.

This is not the first time Zidane has posed in a clothing campaign. In addition to being a spokesmodel for several sportswear brands over the years, he has represented the fashion label Y-3.

Likewise, this is not the first time Mango Man has chosen a soccer star as a spokesmodel: Spanish center-back Gerard Piqué has posed for the brand in the past. Before Zidane, model Mark Vanderloo was the most recent Mango Man ambassador.
