Jean-Claude Biver, in charge of the watches division at LVMH and ad interim President of Zenith since the departure of Aldo Magada in January, has confirmed the appointment of Julien Tornare as CEO of the Swiss luxury watch brand.

Julien Tornare - Zenith

Formerly with Vacheron Constantin, where he was in charge of Asia, Tornare will start at Zenith on 1st May. Tornare said to Swiss newspaper Le Temps that he is looking forward to "a busy few years" and that heading the prestigious brand, which has been struggling for several months, will be a "titanic task."

Julien Tornare, 45, started his career at Raymond Weil in Geneva, before joining the Richemont group in 2000. He was with the group for 17 years, in charge of various markets (Switzerland, the USA and, since 2011, Asia) for Vacheron Constantin.
