Supermodels have been increasingly strengthening their relationship with Zara. After having photographed iconic 90s models such as Kate Moss, who became Emmanuelle Alt's muse for a glamorous campaign, as well as Natalia Vodianova, who starred in the campaign of Zara's collaboration with designer Narciso Rodriguez, the Russian model Irina Shayk posed before Mert & Marcus' lens for the Spanish brand's latest launch.

Entitled 'A New Sensuality', the capsule collection aims to instill positivity, confidence and practicality, and targets a type of audience "whose lifestyle is constantly changing."

Composed of nine pieces, which can be worn alone or mixed and matched, the line is now available on the brand's website and in a selection of stores worldwide.

Sensual and tight-fitting draped midi dresses, made of viscose and in asymmetrical shapes, form part of the new collection as well as a long jumpsuit with a straight neckline and bare shoulders and an asymmetrical bodysuit, sold at 89.95 euros and 39.95 euros, respectively. Meanwhile, the long version of the dress is priced at 99.95 euros while the mini version at 79.95 euros. According to the brand, these simple and timeless pieces favor fluidity, ease of movement, versatility and empowerment, thanks to a color palette dominated by black, gray and navy blue.

The launch, which follows its recent collaboration with Ader Error and the release of its first ski collection, is part of the Spanish brand's premium repositioning strategy, which has been accelerated since the arrival of Marta Ortega as president of the Inditex group last April.

This is not the first time that the Spanish textile group has teamed up with the Russian supermodel. Shayk was one of the guests and stars of the opening of Marta Ortega's latest exhibition held in A Coruña dedicated to the iconic photographer Steven Meisel.

In the first half of the current financial year, the Spanish group increased its profit by 41% to 1.79 billion euros. In addition, turnover grew by 25% at constant exchange rates to 14.8 billion euros. The financial results for the third quarter of the year will be presented next Wednesday, December 14.
