Zandra Rhodes to be keynote speaker at Pure London

Zandra Rhodes has been announced as the keynote speaker at the next edition of Pure London with the design legend speaking on day one of the AW20 event, February 9.

It’s good timing with Rhodes having recently been named as Luxury Legend at the Walpole British Luxury Awards and also having opened a retrospective show at the Fashion and Textile Museum. A book about her has also been published so she’s very much in the news.

And as she’s celebrating 50 years in fashion, that’s another trigger for plenty of Rhodes-linked headlines.

The organisers of Pure London said visitors will hear her speak about “the ups and downs of continuing to thrive in the fashion world, offering fascinating insights and no doubt a few interesting stories over the years”.

Despite much of the publicity around her this year having focused on her history in fashion, Rhodes remains active today and recently launched a new Jubilee Collection. She has also linked up with Ikea for a series of ongoing collaborations and is working on her AW20 collection to be shown at London Fashion Week in February.
