Zadig & Voltaire lines up collaboration with new muse Kate Moss

Kate Moss and premium French apparel label Zadig & Voltaire are joining forces for what looks sure to be a match made in heaven. The British top model has been chosen by the most rock 'n' roll of Parisian brands to be the face of its Autumn/Winter 2019-20 campaign, a role in which she succeeds Eva Herzigova, who has fronted the label's campaigns for the last two seasons. 
 

But Moss obviously isn't content to just pose for the brand's black and white campaign, and has also teamed up with Zadig & Voltaire creative director Cecilia Bönström for a collaborative collection. Bags, shoes, apparel and a runway show during Paris Fashion Week could all be on the cards, but curious fans will have to wait until September, when the brand has promised to give further details. 

Founded 21 years ago, Zadig & Voltaire has been doubling down on new projects in recent months. Only a few days ago, for example, the brand announced the creation of the "ZV Tribe", a team of nine influencers contracted to represent the brand on social media for the year. Its members include France's Chloé Lecareux, Alexandra Guerain, Lena Simonne and Clara Berry, as well as Italy's Chiara Totire, Alejandra Rivière of Spain, British model Candice Blackburn, Danish it girl Freja Wewer and Maja Wyh from Germany.

Zadig & Voltaire has also been accelerating the expansion of its retail network. With 199 stores in France and 260 international locations, the brand has pushed forward with a series of new openings, including two in Porto and Nice in the last few months, with another store slated to open in Madrid soon. The brand launched in 1998 by Thierry Gillier (who recently acquired cashmere label Lucien Pellat-Finet) also appointed Arnaud Louet as its new deputy general manager in charge of finance on 3 July.
