Parisian fashion brand Zadig & Voltaire has hired Kristen Sosa as CEO for the North America region. The brand has entrusted Sosa to oversee its expansion in the United States. Founded in 1997 by Thierry Gillier, the brand considers the American market a major area for its development.

Sosa has an impressive track record of more than twenty years in the high-end fashion industry. She most recently served as president of the Americas at Marc Jacobs in 2022, after having worked at Saks Fifth Avenue from 1995 to 2017. During her time at the American department store, she held various positions, including executive vice president and director of sales.

In her new role at Zadig & Voltaire, her primary objective is to increase brand awareness and expand the brand's reach across the North American region. "Beyond her extensive experience in the luxury market in this region, her strong leadership skills perfectly complement our management team. Kristen will play a crucial role in driving the accessories category in North America to match its level in Europe, which represents 50% of our business," said Rémy Baume, global CEO of Zadig & Voltaire.

Known for its edgy and rock-inspired aesthetic, Zadig & Voltaire currently operates 350 locations worldwide, including a network of around 60 points of sale in the United States, consisting of standalone stores and shop-in-shops in department stores like Bloomingdale's.

In 2021, Zadig & Voltaire announced plans to open over 120 new stores in France and abroad by 2025, aiming to achieve annual sales of 550 million euros, compared to 350 million euros in 2020/2021.
