Wrangler launches women's workwear line

Published
Mar 11, 2020

Kontoor Brands-owned denim brand Wrangler has expanded its Wrangler Riggs Workwear line to include apparel specifically designed for women.

Wrangler

Created to provide more inclusive workwear apparel, the Wrangler Riggs Workwear for Women line is designed to address common issues women face when searching for comfortable and durable workwear, the brand said.

The workwear line's premiere collection includes workwear pants and jeans, available in multiple colorways of stretch canvas and featuring reinforced pockets; as well as shirts, performance t-shirts, Henley shirts and work jackets, which are designed with moisture-wicking and stretch fabric, gusset details for range of motion, reinforced stitching and chest and sleeve pockets.

The collection is available in sizes 0 to 20 and XS to 3XL, with prices ranging from $29 to $49. All products come with a limited lifetime warranty.

“With our Wrangler Riggs Workwear line, we have been outfitting job sites for more than fifteen years,” said Jenni Broyles, vice president and general manager, Wrangler North America. “Today, we are proud to offer a collection that provides the exceptional fit that female consumers know and love from Wrangler, while meeting the functional and performance benefits found in all Wrangler Riggs Workwear apparel."

Wrangler Riggs Workwear for Women is available now online and in select specialty retailers.

Other major launches from the brand throughout last year have included Indigood, a sustainable line of foam-dyed denim,  a '90s-inspired unisex collection with Opening Ceremony and a collaborative capsule with recording artist Lil Nas X

At the beginning of this month, Kontoor Brands, a spinoff of VF Corp which also operates the Lee denim brand, announced declines in its revenues and earnings for the fourth quarter and full fiscal year 2019, attributed to factors including changes to its business model and its decision to exit an underperforming country, as well as other points of distribution, including select channels in India.

For the fourth quarter ended December 28, 2019, Kontoor reported revenues of $652.6 million, down 10% from $726.2 million in the prior-year period.
