Wolverine Worldwide appoints a new managing director for Europe

The Wolverine Worldwide group will rely on a new managing director for its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. The group, parent company of Saucony, Hush Puppies, Keds and Wolverine, has handed over the area to Chip Coe.

Chip Coe was formerly in charge of the Chaco brand - Chaco


Coe, in charge of footwear brand Chaco since 2011, succeeds Dan Le Vesconte, who joined Wolverine Worldwide in November 2012.

In the course of his career, Chip Coe was Smartwool's President between the end of 1999 and October 2006. He then directed the accessories brand Teko, between 2009 and 2010. He joined the Wolverine group in 2010, as Vice-President in charge of licences and accessories.

In the last quarter, closed on June 20th, Wolverine Worldwide's revenues recorded a 2.7% increase, reaching $630 million (€554 million).
