As part of Wet n Wild’s new Breaking Beauty campaign, Forrest joins cancer survivor and activist Mama Cāx, and transgender model and writer Valentijn De Hingh.

Forrest praised the drugstore beauty brand for being more inclusive in its advertising. She says the fashion industry as a whole has opened itself up more recently to women of color and models with diverse looks, such as model Winnie Harlow, who has vitiligo.

"It's always great to be a part of a brand that celebrates diversity, and prides itself on being inclusive to all!" Forrest wrote on her Instagram page in light of the announcement.

Diversity has become a huge buzzword in the beauty industry in recent months. Covergirl recently rebranded its image, changing its tagline and inviting a diverse group of women such as Issa Rae and Ayesha Curry to act as its new ambassadors. Almay also recently invited Rashida Jones as the new face of the brand, while Rihanna’s new beauty brand Fenty Beauty has earned significant praise for its diverse range of shades.
