Watch brand Oris opens London pop-up
Oris has launched a pop-up store on Mayfair’s South Molton Street, marking the first time that the Swiss watch brand has opened a standalone concept in London.
The store follows the launch of the Oris 2018 Collection at Baselworld, the famous watch and jewellery show, last month. It has been designed to provide a place to explore the Oris brand and its rich watchmaking heritage. A mini museum, dedicated to historic pieces from Oris’ 114-year history, highlights its longstanding tradition with a selection of watches personally selected by the brand’s chairman Ulrich W. Herzog.
The 25 sq mt store in Mayfair opened at the end of March and will run for six months until the end of August.
In addition to showcasing the latest collection, the luxury brand will host an array of events for customers, friends of Oris and MyOris members.
Founded in Hölstein, Switzerland in 1904, the brand designs and develops luxury watches that are purely mechanical and marked out by their distinctive design as well as red rotor, the symbol of Oris mechanicals.
The independent company is one of many Swiss brands creating luxury timepieces for wealthy globetrotters.
